Bianchi's Oltre XR.3 roadbike is the Italian high flyer for all challenges of the HOrs Category. Ride at the limit! The Bianchi HoC line is trimmed entirely on speed. The nimble geometry, light weight and maximum stiffness values provide endless propulsion. Fully suitable for racing - the rest is up to you! The XR.3 frame ensures the Oltre can be ridden now with slightly less budget. For that the carbon fibers come up with slightly tensile strength and new carbon dropouts with metal inserts. The geometry is almost the same and the comfort has even been increased. Furthermore this Bianchi-innovation is equipped with the Ultegra groupset 11-speed, which has been optically and technologically inspired by its great sister Ultegra. The Fulcrum Racing 7 wheelset delivers great training performance. The updated Oltre XR.3 frame is processed from a combination of different carbon fibers with the monocoque method. With Bianchi's special carbon nano-technology its possible to place nanoparticles in the matrix in order to improve the cohesion between the fibers. Air pockets and micro-cracking are avoided specifically, maximizing the life expectancy and the fracture resistance of the frame. With special techniques excellent stiffness are achieved on the frame. The X-TEC processes a crossed, high-strength layer on the inside of the structure. These additional "braces" are located at the bottom bracket and headset. Additional with WMP (Wrinkless Molding Process) only wrinkless layers were achieved. This technique is applied before the actual processing and provides more structure and process efficiency. Stiffness is also continuing at the head tube. This has a conical "Tapered" cross section with 1 1/8" to 1 1/2" diameter, resulting in a stiff and stable front. The aerodynamic, tapered, new full carbon fork fits neatly into the frame. The FSA BB386 bottom bracket standard, in which the ball bearings are pressed directly into the frame, and the voluminous chainstays provide a huge drive stiffness so actually every used watt is convert in propulsion. The excellent vertical resilience of the rear end is achieved with the UTSS (Ultra Thin Seat Stay) seatstays and helps the driver reduce fatigue. The internal cable routing all cables will be fully implemented in the frame with positive effects on the appearance and low maintenance. The derailleur hanger is replaceable and the dropouts are made of aluminum to ensure maximum durability. The frame comes with the Bianchi own aero carbon seat post, which makes for a very integrated look. Di2 and EPS compatible.
